A
Few things to remember
before you set-out!
To
ensure your trip
to Litchfield is
a fantastic one,
please remember to:
- Bring
insect repellent, sun lotions, plenty of drinking
water and comfortable clothing suited to tropical
conditions.
- Pets
are not permitted within the National Park or
Monsoon Cafe & Latitude 13.08.
- Please
adhere to the Parks and Wildlife warning signs
at all times, particularly in the wet season.
- Please
respect any animals, plants and natural structures
in Litchfield National Park.
- Do
not feed the animals, move or dislodge termite
mounds or plants.
- Take
your rubbish with you or place in the bins provided
so others can enjoy the park just as you have!
- Bush
fires start very easily so please take care not
to throw your cigarrette butts on the ground.
They also look unsightly to other people enjoying
the area.
- Campfires
should only be lit in the fireplaces provided
and be completely extinguished before leaving
your campsite at anytime.
- Be
cautious when travelling on unsealed roads. Always
drive within your ability and remember - you're
here to enjoy the park so drive carefully.
- DRINKING
WATER: Remember to carry plenty of drinking water.
- FUEL:
Remember to fuel your vehicle up before entering
Litchfield National Park as there is no fuel available
within the park. Last fuel stop is at Batchelor
store & Batchelor Service Station or Berry
Springs.
- SHOPPING:
Well stocked store is available in the centre
of Batchelor (Batchelor Store), and limited supplies
at the Batchelor Service Centre.
